My client is seeking a Bid Coordinator at senior level to join them in Cardiff.
You will have worked in a bidding environment within the construction industry for around five years or more and have a Degree or similar qualification in a Construction / Engineering subject.
My client is a large firm of construction and engineering consultants working closely with Local Authority and other similar clients plus private sector clients too.
They have offices across the UK.
You will have a BSc Degree, Diploma or similar in a construction or engineering or other subject ideally.
Previous bid experience in highways, rail, water or utiities engineering projects would be useful.
You will be responsible for supporting the local business leads and infrastructure sales teams for the bidding and proposal generation activities.
You will coordinate the preparation and organisation of bids and direct business development submissions.
You will undertake client / competitor analysis.
You will ensure that the corporate bid process is implemented and understood to ensure that quality, commercial and legal requirements are met.
You will coordinate internal commercial reviews where necessary.
You will work closely with the graphic design team.
You will monitor the sales pipeline through the CRM system Salesforce and support sales teams with conversion of leads.
You will support the development of quality marketing materials to support strategic business development activity in alignment with the Marketing and Communications team etc.
You should have proven experience in Bid Management in a service or engineering environment.
You may be APMP Foundation or APMP Practitioner and ideally be CRM and InDesign competent.
Salary in the range of £27000 to £34000 per annum plus pension and other benefits.
